What is your favourite recipe?

This is an impossible question! There is no way I can choose just one so here are a couple of my current favourites; a delicious creamy mushroom soup and a dreamy carrot cake (the secret with this one is mashed bananas!)

Tell us a bit about yourself:

I joined the team at Face to Face Finance in June 2018 and have never looked back! I started my career in financial services in 2013, but financial advice was the route I had always imagined I would follow.

The relationships I build with clients is what I love the most. Taking time to find out about what they are looking to achieve, their personal circumstances and having a discussion over a cup of tea, then working together to create a solution for their needs. That’s why you’ll be hearing lots from me, as talking to people and explaining how things work is what I do!

I am the one who is responsible for the Your Recipe for Financial Success podcast theme. It mixes my two favourite things; personal finance and baking! Whenever I’m not working, you will probably find me baking.

I was perfecting the icing on my sister’s 30th birthday cake when the name for our podcast came to me – Your Recipe for Financial Success! It didn’t take much to convince the other hosts to get involved either – nothing a slice of cake couldn’t help with anyway!

What is your favourite recipe?

That’s a hard question, I make some fabulous vegan donut cupcakes (if I do say so myself!), but since lockdown, my favourite recipe has to be raisin bread, which I made every Monday morning – although I swapped the raisins out for sultana’s, so I guess you could say it was sultana bread!

Tell us a bit about yourself:

I’ve worked in financial services for the past 22 years – where has that time gone! Originally working for a large life office, I set up Face to Face Finance as independent financial advisers at the end of 2003. I mainly work behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly.

Within the podcast team, I look after the marketing side of things, and am very excited about some of the things we have coming up for you later this year!

Outside work, I love travel, the more far flung the better, I look reading and am involved in two book groups.

What is your favourite recipe?

That’s hard to say, I have a great recipe for a Lasagne, but if you have more of a sweet tooth then my recipe for Chocolate Brownies is hard to beat – even if I do say so myself!

Tell us a bit about yourself:

I have worked within the administration team at Face to Face Finance since 2011. I am proud to have achieved my Diploma in Financial Planning and am looking forward to challenging myself to achieving Chartered status in the next few years.

Though you may hear me feature on the podcast from time to time, I spend a lot of time working behind the scenes coming up with the recipes for future episodes. I am quite technically minded so I enjoy researching the topics which we think you will like to hear about!

In my free time, I enjoy going for walks along the coast, working out at the gym and reading. I’m not a massive baker but don’t tell the others!
